Taxi Drivers
Taxi drivers are in a particularly difficult position:
- they drive long distances and for long periods of time – often during unsocial hours or on unfamiliar roads
- they are covered by additional legal and local authority regulations
- their income relies on their ability to drive
In common with other people who drive for a living they are also aware that they only have one license – driving offences committed in any circumstances can affect their livelihood. They must drive when they are off-duty with the care that they would while they are working.
I have successfully represented professional drivers both in the courts and in local authority hearings. I am familiar with the legal and regulatory requirements placed on taxi drivers and I can help.
